Industry Urges Brussels to Commit €100 Billion to Infrastructure
Europe’s transport industry is calling for a major increase in EU infrastructure funding in the next multiannual budget. Led by IRU and supported by over 40 associations, including ACEA, the sector urges Brussels to allocate at least €100 billion to the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF). Industry leaders stress that modern transport networks are critical for competitiveness, decarbonization, defense readiness, and supply chain security. Without stronger EU backing, Europe’s economic resilience and strategic ambitions could be at risk.
